The owners had just bought the house and wanted the kitchen and bathroom updated before settling in. We replaced countertops, cabinets and drawers after confirming the existing structure was sound, then renewed the wall finishes and flooring for a clean modern look. New appliances — range, dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave — were factored into the layout from the start.

The bathroom was taken back to essentials and rebuilt: new bathtub, shower surround and fixtures, new flooring, and a new vanity with storage underneath. In and out in 15 working days.

The old structure had seen its last winter. We rebuilt from the ground up: concrete piers below the frost line, properly sized joists, pressure-treated decking, and a wood-and-aluminum railing system that keeps sightlines open.

Wide, solid stairs and lattice skirting finish it off — a deck that will still be level and safe after many Ontario freeze-thaw cycles.
